The Guardian Spirit is Eeppo protector. The Guardian Spirit cannot be seen or hurt by enemies. The Guardian Spirit can walk freely on the map.

The Spirit can call out Eeppo and have them follow him. The Spirit task is to free Harmonia from enemies. That is the main objective of this game. And doing so hastily.

The maximum number of Eeppo the Guardian can call out is determined by how many Tower are conquered, the more Tower you conquered the higher is the maximum number of Eeppo the Guardian can command.

At nighttime, when enemies are asleep, you can conquer Tower more freely without the interference from enemies.

When nighttimes comes the wolf will howl, at this point enemies are asleep yet, wait a little until it turns dark and when you hear their snore before you attempt to move into their vicinity.

With this in mind, it is wise to try to conquer the red Tower from the beginning of the game. Of course you're free to do what you think is best. But with larger number of Eeppo, you can be freer to multitask your game.

Also the more Eeppo you have with the Guardian, it'll be easier for Eeppo to defeat enemies. With more Eeppo you can surround the enemies easier.

Surrounding an enemy is one of the first tactics you can use. But you're free to choose the weak point of an enemy and exploit that in your game. There will be more discussion about the combat later.

Conquered Eeppo Towers are linked together, so the Guardian is free to call out Eeppo from any of the Conquered Tower. You are free to plan your game strategy around this.

Anyway, this is useful because you can return Eeppo to one particular Tower and have the Guardian walk to the next Tower and call out Eeppo from there. In doing so, you can avoid certain enemies on the map.

You can return Eeppo to the Tower, by having the Eeppo following you and move to the vicinity of a conquered tower and move the hand pointer over the conquered tower and right click to send ten Eeppo back to the tower.

The types of Eeppo you send are the type that is shown on the Eeppo icon, you can change this icon by right clicking over the icon. You can change this by moving the hand pointer over the icon and left clicking on them.

Or by using the '1', '2', '3', or '4', depending on what type of Eeppo, you have with the Guardian, the type of Eeppo are assign in alphabetical order, that is blue, green, red and yellow are assign to '1', '2', '3', or '4'.

When Eeppo finished the job they will stand around on the spot. To have them follow the Guardian Spirit, one method is to move the Guardian Spirit to the vicinity of the Eeppo that stands around and left click and drag the hand pointer over them. Any Eeppo inside the rectangle will follow the Guardian Spirit again.

Notice that Eeppo on the field who are not following the Guardian Spirit will turn into a paler colour. This will let you differentiate the ones that are following you and the one that aren't easily.

You are also able to call all Eeppo that are out side the tower by pressing 'z' key on the keyboard. The Eeppo doesn't have to be in the vicinity of the Guadian Spirit to get called. However when Eeppo are on the job (carrying fruits or stone, or fighting foe) they will abandon their job and come toward the Spirit. Use this to your advantage.

Or you can try using the 'x' key and just called all idle Eeppo who are not doing anything. These will make sure Eeppo on the field are use efficiently.

Another use of the 'x' key is to make sure Eeppo are centre around the Guardian Spirit. When moving Eeppo around enemies makes sure you press 'x' so they group together, if not they will scatter.

It is important to know when to call Eeppo or idle Eeppo toward the Guardian. It is the best when path from Eeppo to Guardian are clear of enemies or when it is nighttimes where enemies are asleep.

When Eeppo are sent to for jobs, it is more efficient if you sent the right type of Eeppo. Of course in your game you are free to use any type of Eeppo you please in your game.

Fruits are Eeppo source of food. Fruits are very delicious. Eeppo loves them. In this story the enemies are enslaving Eeppo to collect fruit for themselves. So make sure your fruits supply doesn't go to zero.

When fruit supply is low, there will be a warning noise to warn you. When you do manage accidentally goes to zero Eeppo on the field will start to die and eventually the ones in the Tower. Game over is imminent when you are in this position. So get those fruits.

To increase the population of Eeppo in the Tower, you have to hatch the Stone that lay about the world. To do this, gather the Stone like you have fruits.

When Eeppo brought the Stone back to the Tower it will hatch instantly and you can watch your Eeppo population in the Tower increased rapidly.

The Green stone will hatch the Green Eeppo, the Blue stone will hatch Blue Eeppo, the Red Stone will hatch the Red Eeppo and the Yellow Stone will hatch the Yellow Eeppo.

Green Eeppo are stronger than the other types of Eeppo, so they are very useful for carrying Stones and fruits back to the Tower. They are also more durable to physical damage than any other types of Eeppo. So take advantage of their durability and make them the frontline when attacking enemies with physical attacks, to minimise the casualty of Eeppo. Another feature of Green Eeppo is that they have the highest physical attack power among Eeppo, so they're very useful all around Eeppo.

Blue Eeppo are immune to water base attack. Some enemies have water base attack, use Blue Eeppo as frontline against these enemies, to minimise the casualty of Eeppo. As well as being resistance to water, they themselves have water base attack. Some enemies are weak to water base attack while some can only be defeated by Blue Eeppo special water base attack.

Red Eeppo are immune to fire base attack. Some enemies have fire base attack, use Red Eeppo as frontline against these enemies, to minimise the casualty of Eeppo. As well as being resistance to fire, they themselves have fire base attack. Some enemies are weak to fire base attack while some can only be defeated by Red Eeppo special fire base attack.

Yellow Eeppo are the weakest and the least durable of all type of Eeppo. However they have special projectile effect. They can attack from ranged. They throw pure energy ball towards the enemies. Some enemies can only be defeated by using this attack. Make sure you have other colour Eeppo with Yellow Eeppo, since it is not a good idea to have Yellow Eeppo as your frontline.

Note that Stones are of different sizes, the bigger the stone is the more Eeppo you need to assign for the job. The bigger the stone, the more Eeppo will hatch from it. Green Eeppo are stronger, thus fewer of them are required to carry the Stone at the same speed as other colour Eeppo.

You can also mixed colour, but it doesn't change much. It's rated by their total strength when carrying the stone. When you get the total right, they will move at the optimal rate carrying it back to the closest Tower.

Carrying stones and fruits are best done during the day and fighting enemies done at night when enemies are asleep. But you are free to do what you feel best to complete the scenario the fastest way possible.

Enemies will patrol their area during the day. They will communicate with each other in the area, so if you attack one, the other in close proximity will attack too. That's why if your skill isn't up to snuff it's a bad idea to attack during the day.

But during the night most of them are asleep, they will stay asleep unless awaken. You will also have a surprise advantage on your hand, where Eeppo will gain upper hand by attacking first before even the enemy awaken.

If your skill isn't up to snuff, it is best to take a group of enemy one at a time, when Eeppo number becomes low, its best to run away, by moving the Guardian Spirit away from the group of enemy and calling Eeppo by using the 'z' or 'x' key. You may need to press the 'z' or 'x' key multiple times to make sure all Eeppo gets call because the enemies will try to pursue Eeppo as they ran away.

When you get the hang of things you will notice you will be able to defeat a group of enemy faster if you divide Eeppo among several enemies, but this is risky if you don't know the weakness of the enemies. If you don't exploit enemy weakness, enemy can easily overpower Eeppo.

The basic of attacking enemy is to have a group of Eeppo with you and pick one enemy by moving the cursor over them and right click to send as many Eeppo as you need. This is a very basic of attacking.

Next you should note the arrow underneath the enemy when you move the hand pointer over it. Note these arrows, as you move the hand pointer over different arrow in the circle you should note that the arrow change in colour depending on which of the arrow the hand pointer is over.

You can choose the side of monster that Eeppo can attack by choosing and right clicking these arrows. You can command Eeppo to attack from the front, the back or the left or the right side of the monster.

One strategy is to surround a monster, generally this is not a good idea, but it can be useful in some situation, and it's a really basic tactic to surround your enemy. To do this you need to send Eeppo to attack all four sides of the monster (the front, the back or the left or the right side).

When you do this successfully you will notice that Eeppo will surround the monster and form a ring around the monster. This is useful against tough monster.

Another strategy is to attack the back of the enemy. This is a very sound tactic as enemy are generally vulnerable from the back. To do this watch the monster carefully, watch where its backside is.

Once you located it, use the hand pointer to the appropriate arrow and right click to concentrate your attack in that area. You will note that Eeppo will concentrate on that area and you will also notice that the enemy will try to turn around and get to where Eeppo are. And Eeppo will not stand still but also try to attack the backside of monster. This should lead to an exciting battle.

Another helpful tip when you're trying to lock onto a specific side of the monster is to use the 'shift' key. When you had a lock on, on the side you want to attack, press and hold the shift key, this way, when the monster move out of the vicinity of the hand pointer, you can still right click to send more Eeppo to attack, instead of having to try to lock on the monster and the side all over again.

Different enemies have different weaknesses and different attack pattern. Each enemy will be described in detail later. But the best way to find their weaknesses is to experiment. You are free to use whichever tactics suits you in your game. Try different tactics; see which one has the least casualties, which one give the faster result.

When Eeppo are battle weary, you can return them to the Tower and when you take them out again, Eeppo that are fresh will automatically replace battle weary Eeppo and the battle weary Eeppo will recover their health.
